We invite you to visit us at our new store in Sidney where you can browse through a great selection of patterns and pattern books. Thinking about the next project but not yet decided? Relax in look through our collection of reference patterns.
When you have chosen a pattern, take your time choosing the perfect yarns -- a rainbow of
cotton, silk, wool, bamboo, soy, man-made fibre and blended yarns. We carry knitting needles (straight, sock, circular and oversize) in metal, bamboo, birch and plastic. Find the perfect buttons for your garment or purchase a knitting bag for that next trip
Knitting Olympics - are you ready to play along?
It all begins on Friday, August 8. The opening ceremonies are early early early for us here on the coast - the CBC shows their coverage beginning at 4:00 a.m. local time. Should you be up and watching, you are free to cast on when the flame is lit, and good for you for getting up early! Everyone else - the official start time will be 9:00 a.m. pdt on Aug 8, 2008.
To celebrate the beginning of the games we are having a potluck breakfast at the Beacon Yarn Studio in Sidney. The festivities will begin at 9:00 a.m. Join us for food and fun. We can work on our projects and decide which country has the best / tackiest uniforms.
